Our history<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why we help companies and their staff to learn foreign languages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Languages have always brought me closer to people. I grew up in the bilingual canton of Fribourg and attended a French-speaking nursery, followed by a German-speaking primary school and a German-speaking secondary school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was 17, I spent a year living in the USA, where I got to know American culture and improved my English. Later, I worked at the national Erasmus agency, where I experienced first-hand how languages bring people together, broaden horizons and shape the course of people\u2019s lives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These experiences have stayed with me to this day and have motivated me to take over the PLL Language School in Liestal. I would like to pass on the same gift to other people and businesses: access to new languages, cultures and opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our teaching approach is also based on this principle, enabling you and company staff to learn English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Swiss German with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How we work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a Swiss heart and mind, you\u2019ll learn a new foreign language successfully whilst having fun<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

People and teams come to us because they want to gain a sense of security, clarity and self-confidence \u2013 in their everyday lives, at work and within Swiss culture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We work in small groups of 3\u20135 participants so that your voice is heard and you can make the most of every minute. Our native-speaking teachers are trained in teaching methods and will guide you towards your goal \u2013 in a way that is easy to understand, motivating and tailored specifically to people learning in Switzerland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before the course begins, we\u2019ll carry out a placement test so that we can understand exactly what you or your staff need. We\u2019ll then structure the lessons around this. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
